Basic training

Specific training for screening cargo and mail is carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements, covering the following topics:

• Legal requirements
• Overview on the topic Terrorism
• Weapons & explosives
• Basic principles of screening processes
• Arms & explosives legislation
• Basics of X-ray interpretation
• Training X-ray image interpretation by using OTS® (Operator Training System)
• Practical work at the security checkpoint
• Security of baggage and cargo, treatment of unsecured cargo
