Retraining for security officers in aviation security
The current German Aviation Security Training Regulation (LuftSiSchulV), in conjunction with the currently valid version of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998, enables training of security officers in aviation security. This currently has to be done at least once within 5 years; experience has shown, however, that a shorter refresh interval is advisable.
This retraining is aimed at security officers of:
- Airfields
- Carriers
- Known consignors
- Regulated agents
- Known and regulated suppliers of in-flight supplies
- Known suppliers of airport supplies
- Transporters
The following topics are covered:
- Current European legal bases and their effects
- Current national legal bases and their effects
- Exchange of experiences among the participants
